About H2O
H2O, which some people read as H20, tells you the dishwasher received too little water or none. Its fill phase is timed, so weak pressure or a supply that is only partly open leaves the tub short. The usual reason is a water supply that was not opened all the way.
When it tends to happen
The first run of a new dishwasher.
Plumbing work in the home just finished.
The supply line below the sink was shut off not long ago.
Steps to follow
Locate the hot water valve below the sink closest to the dishwasher and turn it fully on.
Make sure the inlet water hose has no kink.
Level the dishwasher, because a tilted machine can look as if it has low water.
Choose a different cycle option, then set the option back to the one you want. That clears the code.
Which cycle matters
When H2O shows up only on the 1-Hour Wash cycle, schedule service and use any other cycle in the meantime. When it shows on AutoSense, Heavy, Normal or Light, begin with the hose check.
